Industrial thermography

SANAG uses thermography in industrial plants and machinery in the following areas:

  • Inspection of district heating networks, conveying systems and steam applications
  • Inspection of furnace casings
  • Optimization of surrounding conditions (e.g. furnace temperature)
  • Inspection of recent work performed for quality assurance purposes

Our services provide several key advantages for you: lengthen the life span of your equipment, increase productivity, lower operating costs and increase operational safety.

Industrial thermography to diagnose district heating networks

To reduce operational losses during heating season, district heating networks need to be airtight and properly insulated.
SANAG uses advanced thermographic imaging to check and document heat leaks before and after insulating work has been performed and to coordinate routine maintenance work.
SANAG can detect and locate heat loss and leaks caused by corrosion quickly and cost effective.
SANAG can document thermal defects in district heating networks of all sizes.

Thermography to properly maintain furnaces

Equal temperature distribution on the inside of a furnace will reveal the heat transfer capabilities of the furnace casing by measuring the outside temperature with thermographic imaging.
The measured temperatures will give us information about the life span of the furnace as well as necessary repairs.

Thermography used for early detection of equipment failure

Overheating in machinery and equipment is most often caused by a lack of grease in bearings.
SANAG detects and analysis possible weaknesses even while the equipment is operating or in hard to access areas.
This technology is available to diagnose all kinds of machinery and equipment like printing presses, conveyer belts, compressors, pumps, etc.
